This new technology offers us  clearer  imaging than we have ever had, thus enhancing our ability to give you the best level of care.

Simplant is an amazing software program that utilizes a cat scan image to allow  virtual surgery on computer.  Thereby, offering a fully integrated dental implant treatment planning tool that visualizes  anatomy with unparalleled precision – in 3D. Utilizing the  Simplant technology, Dr Duffin accurately  identifies  the ideal position for dental implants. He takes into account both clinical and esthetic considerations before any implant surgery.   Dr Duffin feels dental implant placement should not be a guessing game, so he provides his patients with the Simplant technology.

Use of Apex location equipment for root canal therapy is Dr. Duffin’s standard of care. The Apex locator measures electrical properties of a tooth thereby identifying the length of each root. Successful  root canal therapy  requires cleaning of the entire root canal system.  In the past this required many x rays and educated guessing. This guessing was inherently prone to the possibility of under or over filling  a canal system. The Apex locator provides efficient and accurate identification of the length of a root canal. Dr Duffin’s system goes one step further . The Apex locator technology is directly tied to his rotary canal shaping files. These files automatically reverse when reaching full length of the canal.   This technology  helps Dr Duffin efficiently and successfully provide his patients with tooth saving root canal therapy .
